Agreement Governing Hours of Service and Working Conditions Between Erie Railroad Company and the Clerical, Office, Station and Storehouse Employees Represented by the Brotherhood of Railway and Steamship Clerks, Freight Handlers, Express and Station Employees. Effective August 1, 1945.

This publication covers a railroad that was NOT operating in Hoboken at the time of its publication, but in 1956, the Erie and the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad in Hoboken began to combine operations at Lackawanna Terminal. The Erie terminal in New Jersey was in Jersey City. It started to shift its trains to Lackawanna Terminal in In October 1960, the formal merger took effect. Many of the jobs and locations stated in this Erie agreement would have been subject to changes during the transition period.
Useful in showing the scope of a rail company organizations, both on the road and in the administrative aspects. Some sections refer to agreements as early as 1941.
