DescriptionFive art works from the "Suspended in Time: Works on Glass" series created by Hoboken artist Mckevin Shaughnessy, 2008. Each is a symmetrical horizontal arrangment of four photographs with a gold capital letter on each one spelling a word related to the subject. All artwork is mounted directly on the reverse of single-weight glass, 11-3/4" high x 34-3/4" wide. Works are not signed or dated by artist. No frames. Original series depicted six (of which five are here; "Giovanni" is not present although it is seen in time-line image) Hoboken businesses in a time-line sequence from the one established earliest (1913) to the one most recent (1996.)
