DescriptionParagon 1376P-2 drafting scale (for drafting machine) made by Keuffel & Esser Company, (Hoboken, N.J.), no date, circa 1950-1960. Machined hardwood (boxwood) with applied white celluloid plastic rules on beveled edges; metal brackets (chuck plate) each end on top face. Overall: 12-5/8" long x 1-9/16" deep x 3/16" thick not including mounting bracket. Graduations (measuring rule): 1st edge, 3/8" & 3/4" to 1 foot; 2nd edge, 1-1/2" & 3" to 1 foot. Mounting bracket at each end on face for reversible mounting (end to end) on Paragon Drafting or Map Making Machine. K&E main offices and factory were in Hoboken during the period when this was manufactured.
