DescriptionErasing shield, stamped metal with K&E logo. Made by Keuffel & Esser Co., no date, circa 1942-1960. Circa 30 guage stainless steel sheet metal, 2-5/16" high x 3-3/4" wide. Used in drafting and drawing work to mask area before using eraser. No model number appears on item, but it corresponds to product N3411 or N3409 in 40th & 42nd edition catalogs. Note the company name uses the "+" symbol rather than an ampersand. Keuffel & Esser Co. main office and factories were in Hoboken in the period when this item was made.
