Cardstock covers plus 12 printed leaves, side stapled; closed: 8-3/8" high opening to ca. 16" high x 11-1/8" wide; hang hole.
Printed in sepia colored ink, each month has a full-page illustration of a historical scene from one of the cities or towns where the bank had a location. The "line and wash drawings" are an artist's ("Rocco") interpretation of photos or paintings from various libraries or societies of the respective cities. There is also artwork on the front cover which depicts Hoboken horse-drawn streetcar no. 101, Washington Street line to the Hoboken Ferry.
On the back of the calendar leaf for December is an illustration of the bank's former home at 84 Washington Street (corner Newark), Hoboken.

Washington Savings Bank was founded in 1857 as the Hoboken Bank for Savings; erected 84 Washington St. bank building in 1889-1891. It moved to a new building in 1929, the 101 Washington Street address. Bank was re-named from Hoboken Bank for Savings to Washington Savings Bank in the 1970s.
