DescriptionBox: Flagg Steel Products Co., Inc., Hoboken, N.J. No date, circa 1950-1970. Two piece carton, 3-1/2" wide x 5-3/4" long x 1-1/4" deep; printed paper over cardboard on lid only. Original contents not present or known. End of box has a space for the part number, but it is blank. Flagg was at 219 Bloomfield Street, Hoboken, at least from 1951 to circa 1965 as found in telephone directories; not found in 1975 telephone directory. Manufactured parts for attaching spring leafs on motor vehicles. This box came from the Kostelecky family of 218 Bloomfield St. who operated an auto and truck repair business as Kostelecky Brothers Garage and later as Fred Kostelecky, Auto Repair, during the period when Flagg was in operation in Hoboken. Apparently the Kostelecky's would have used the company's products. It is unkown if they were involved in this auto parts fabrication business. Flagg, no longer located in Hoboken, is still in business as a division of the Triangle Group as of 2009.
