The Student's Slide Rule is seen depicted in the 35th and 36th edition catalogs named as such. According to the website of Clark McCoy (2009) the rule was issued under Beginner's Slide Rule and Student Slide Rule from 1915-1922.The fact that this group has a box with one name and the rule with another is not considered significant. The owner's name that appears on each item would suggest that the rule was issued in the carton as received.
Table of Equivalents source is printed to the left; table ends with Sine 1; Rad. is abbreviated.
Back of rule has "Keuffel & Esser Co., New York." Box has both New York and Hoboken addresses along with four branch offices. K&E had their main office and factories in Hoboken during the period when this item was made.
