Printed plastic wrapper with unprinted area (transparent window) on front; sealed over cardboard tray; 6-3/4" high x 3-1/2" wide x 1-3/8 - 1-1/2" deep. Container unopened and original contents present as seen in the 'window'. Back has printing that runs the long direction with one recipe and a promotion at left: Make easy new "Cut-Up Cakes" Exciting new cake book! This "cake-a-month calendar" was first published in 1956 and was superceded by a new cookbook for cut-up cakes in 1959. The front artwork does have the slogan "NEW Tender Thin Slices" which was introduced 1956.
