Maker's mark on bottom: large (9/16" high) 'M' centered (the factory has not been identified.) The contents for which the bottle was used is not indicated or known. The company was believed to be a provisioner. Note the lettering arrangement on this bottle - "C. Motel"is spelled in an arc above "Cor 8th & Garden St." which is in one line. It uses "St." and not "Sts." The street address in two lines and the use of "Sts." are common on some other bottles from this company.
