[corner] Chambers Street, N.Y. This address is the Gerken Building at 90-92 West Broadway which was completed in 1899. On right side running vertically is the Hoboken address: Factory, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 & 18 Jackson St., Hoboken, N.J. Back has directions in three languages, from top: English, German and French. This suggests this can was for export. This area also contains guarantee text about compliance with the Food and Drugs Act, June 30, 1906 which helps to date the item as no earlier than 1906.
