Digital image, holographic document: Letter by August Grassmann on Mayor's Office letterhead to M.V. McDermott requesting a special meeting of the "B. of P. Com." (Board of Police Commissioners?) and signed by Grassmann as President of the same board, Hoboken, December 11, 1890.
Grassmann was then Mayor. Apparently he also sat on a city board. McDermott was also City Clerk and apparently also the clerk for the police board.
