2. Typed letter signed from City of Charleston, William McG. Morrision, Mayor to Fitzpatrick, May 31, 1949. Referring Fitzpatrick's request to South Carolina State Ports Authority.
3. Typed carbon letter file copy from Fitzpatrick to Chamber of Commerce, Charleston, S.C., June 20, 1949. Requesting background on the relinquishing of City piers to the South Carolina Port Commission.
4. Type letter signed, Charleston Chamber of Commerce to Fitzpatrick, June 23, 1949, responding to Fitzpatrick's request by referring it to Gus Tamberg, Clerk of Council, City of Charleston.
5. Two-page typed letter signed from Tamberg to Fitzpatrick, July 5, 1949. Responding to Chamber of Commerce referral and providing four paragraphs of background history.
