Green tinted molded glass, 2-1/4" diameter x 4-3/16" high; 3/4" diameter bore; embossed lettering on shoulder; flanged lip, wide rim; flat top unground; some bubbles in glass. Mold seams prominent. No apparent maker's marks on base. Shoulder lettering: front: Davis OK [Davis is scant 3/16" high; 'O' and 'K' are 7/16" high and separated by about 3/8"; no period follow the letters] back: Baking Powder [scant 3/16" high] Company location is not given; it is possible that this bottle precedes the era (circa 1890 or slightly before) when the company manufactured in Hoboken. Prior to Hoboken, New York City was the place of manufacture.
