Photographer not indicated, probably Helen Manogue or family member. Reverse has holographic ink notation: # 9, DeGennaro Trans Inc. Direction of view is probably west - northwest. The company is in mid-1970's telephone directories at 715 Jefferson St. which would place it on the east side of a Hoboken street. The view here would probably have been a nearby storage or warehouse area for them, but definitely not at 715 Jefferson. From a series of 20 images of Hoboken scenes taken as part of documentation for the Hoboken Environment Committee and used for promotion of a program called "Care Dammit! I Do. Sweep Up, Clean Up, Shape Up Hoboken." The prints were numbered 1 to 20 (matching the 35mm negative numbers) with print no. 19 missing. That print has been replaced by a digital print from the negatives. Series is in photo catalogue 2006.042.0120 to .0139.
