The first two images were taken in Church Square Park looking north with the site of the former Stevens Hoboken Academy in the background (a new apartment building is on that site; its facade and roofline resembles the school building which was demolished in the 1976.) Paula Cantor nee Millenthal was a 1955 graduate of the school and her husband Bill graduated from there in 1954. Paula is holding her 1955 yearbook. The other five images were taken outside the former Temple Adath Emuno, 637-639 Garden Street, of which was they were once members. Purpose of the photos was for use in a then forthcoming oral history chapbook.
