Carved wood rosette, 4.9" diameter, from the Stevens family home on Castle Point, Hoboken, NJ. Attached gummed label on rear notes: Stevens Castle - from | hanging stairway. Saved from demolition debris by James R. Bartholomew. Carved pine, 3/4" thick, dark mahogany finish.
