On the building to the right, Paramount Cafeteria, is a sign for "Annual Dance, Hudson County Industrial Union Council, CIO, to be held at Union Club, 600 Hudson St., Hoboken, Sat Eve'g Feb. 12, 1944." Lower right corner of sign has signature: John J. Grogan.
Not determined if Shipyard Workers Local 15 represented employees at Bethlehem Steel Shipyard, Hoboken and / or workers at Todd Shipyards in Hoboken.
