Digital photos, five, of members of the Peskens family and some friends, Hoboken, 1952-1960. Various locations including their home at 1224 Washington St. (family lived at this address 1953-1981), outside the Elysian (or Yellow) Flats and a River Street rooftop.

Photo 1: Black-and-white photo of woman, Mrs. Polly Peskens, and child, Phyllis Peskens, on a roof outside a back window of a River Street building, 1952. Back has contemporary penciled name and address that does not appear to relate to the content of the image. Original print 2-1/2" x 3-1/2". Note laundry line pulley.
Photo 2: Black-and-white photo of a woman, Mrs. Anton (Polly) Peskens, (identified by Bussanich) holding baby at unidentified street location, near a postal box, probably Hoboken, no date, circa 1955-1956. Original print 3-1/2" square, reverse is blank.
Photo 3: Black-and-white photo of three girls, ranging from circa 3 to 5 years old, playing on a sidewalk on the west side of the 1200 block of Washington Street, Oct. 1960 (processor printed date in right border.) Original print 3-1/2" square; reverse is blank. The girls at center are identified by Bussanich as Kathy Lynch and Anita Alvarez, presumably left to right. Girl at the right edge is not identified.
Photo 4: Black-and-white photo of the Peskens children - six girls, a boy and a german shepherd dog in the living room at 1224 Washington St.(family home on top floor, 1953-1981), no date, circa 1958. Note the television. Original print circa 3-1/2" square. Reverse is blank. Identified by Bussanich, oldest to youngest: Phyllis, Annie, Toni, Kathleen, Anton Cor (only boy), Jacqueline and Paulette; dog is named Rinny.
Photo 5: Color photo (faded) of nine girls (ranging from circa 3 or 4 years old to teenage) and a woman (Mrs. Anton Peskens?; second from right at back) standing on the front steps of an entrance to the Elysian Apartments on the Washington Street side, April 1958. All are dressed in their Sunday best dresses, coats and hats for Easter Sunday. Original print ca. 3-1/2" square. Reverse has processor's date: Kodak. Week of April 19 - 58 RD.
