Original full page (present here with clipped edges) color advertisement, 6-3/4" wide x 9-3/8" high. "Rescues Pup! Wins Gold Medal!" "Mary Becomes President!" Ad promoted "Eat a Tootsie a Day", 1 cent and 5 cents. Note the packaging, a two piece wrapper. Also a visual promotion for a Tootsie Pop which depicts a "cut open" view with the center having a heart shape. "Get the Pop with a Heart - a heart of Tootsie Rolls." The Sweets Company of America which made the products was in Hoboken during this period.
