A first class stateroom baggage (luggage) tag from the Hamburg-American Line, no date, circa 1900-1917.
Printed cardstock with metal edging; 3-/8" high x 4-1/4" wide.
The passenger's, Henry Clay Barnabee, destination was Paris, sailing on the Pennsylvania, July 14th, no year. Built 1896-1897; vessel was refitted in 1900 and confiscated by the U.S. Goverment in 1917; used until 1919 as the Nansemond; scrapped 1924.
