Not stated is that this product was made at this time by the Franklin Baker Division of General Foods in Hoboken although it is likely that the publication itself was not produced in Hoboken. The covers and selected page spreads are imaged. Baker's Coconut was made in two types: Premium Shred and Southern Style. Cross promotion for other General Foods products listed in ingredients such as Swans Down Cake Flour, Jell-O, Hellman's Mayonnaise, Log Cabin Syrup and Baker's Chocolate. These products are not depicted. Also included in an indirect way is Calumet Baking Powder; the ingredients list in relevant recipes has baking powder with an asterisk referring the user to page 38 where boxed text states that Calumet, the Double-Acting Baking Powder, was used for all recipes in this book. Notable is that the packages for the products seen on the back cover, a can, lid opened and pulled back, and an open box.
