Black-and-white photo of six women at Brandt School art exhibit standing in front of a table with student art that is to be or has been judged, (Hoboken), no date, probably May 13, 1958. Digital images only; original print 8" x 10" wide mounted on album leaf (reverse had ink text seen by transmitted light, but not legible). Photographer not known. Woman are not identified, but they may be among the ones mentioned in the clipping described below. They are either teachers or members of the P.T.A. All but one are wearing corsages.
Also imaged is a newslipping found on the other side of the album leaf from 'The Brandt News', June 1958 with article "Art Exhibit" which is believed to be related to the photograph. Clipping had chipped edges with some loss of printed text.
"On May 13 an exhibit was held, showing the art work done in Mr. Glatt's classes and shop work done under the direction of Mr. Sepp. This exhibit was sponsored by the P.T.A. [Parent-Teacher Association], who donated the prizes.
The judges, Supervisor Miss Van Twisk,; Miss M. Allen, teacher in Wallace School; and our own Miss Livingston, had a most difficult time."
