The publication promoted Baker's Southern Style Coconut, a canned product made in Hoboken at this time where Franklin Baker was based. As part of the General Foods family of products, the cookbook also promotes other products they made by brand name in recipe ingredients such as Jell-O, Baker's Unsweetened Chocolate (this was Walter Baker's, a different division), Post Toasties, Gran-Nuts Flakes, Huskies, Calumet Baking Powder and Swans Down Cake Flour.
