View is an elevated view southeast with River Street or Road not visible at the bottom; a very small corner of Hudson Square Park to the lower right. Dating is approximate, but the North German Lloyd pier shed at the right is the one constructed after the 1900 fire. Date not established for when the boat club houses were removed, but they do appear in Plate 4 of the 1909 Hopkins Atlas in these locations. Hudson River traffic includes a large ferry, tugboat and other vessels. Cunard Line piers seen on the New York City waterfront. Detail scans as described below.
