A forty-two page booklet separately catalogued as library 2009.006.0173.01 but stored in the pocket of this item. Page ii is the typical bird's-eye view of the Hoboken general office and factories. No other views were published in this edition. Catalog is not priced as is stated in notice preceding pg [i]. A truncated edition of their general catalog, about half the number of pages as was typical of them. Front cover states the contents of this catalog: Drafting and Reproduction Materials and Equipment, Slide Rules. The catalog is unpriced as noted above and includes the separate price list which is notable in that it includes items not listed in the catalog (such as surveying equipment) and notes that some items are discontinued "for the duration." Because of government restrictions on paper and other materials during World War II, the catalog was shortened from previous ones; similar restrictions on materials made it difficult to have the metal, wood, etc., to produce their full product line for non-government or non-war service customers which is noted on pages iii and 215.
