Bank book: Hoboken Bank for Savings, Washington St. corner First St., Hoboken, N.J.; account holders Marie Kochendorfer & August W. Kochendorfer, 611 Park Ave., Hoboken; 1958-1972 (account closed.) Printed booklet 3-3/8" wide x 4-1/2" high plus printed sleeve for storage. Besides deposits, withdrawals and interest postings, there are holographic entries by the owners. Savings account pass book no. 274164. The bank was renamed Washington Savings Bank in the 1970s. While the last withdrawal was August 7, 1972 and the cover and last page with postings is inkstamped "Closed" the date line was left blank. The sleeve does have a note: cancelled Feb. 24, 1976.
