At the top is a view on the river of a steamship plus several sailing vessels, a ferry, tugboat and a couple lighters. The lower half is a drawing of the cross-section of the two tubes beneath the river what is typically found titled on other postcards as "North or Hudson River Showing Cross Section Penn. Tunnel, New York City." Postmarked Oct. 14, 1908 or 1909.
