Photographer not indicated. Although negative envelope stated in ballpoint ink, "Hoboken, NJ", it is not considered definitive that the shot was in that city. It could have been in Jersey City or Weehawken. The company was based in Jersey City and did operate during the period this photo was likely taken. The bus is a model that was in use from the 1930s onward (a rear engine Ford.) Automobile at right and painted sign on building in background suggests late 1940s, but is not definitive. (Photo from 1949 seen in an online blog post for this bus line showed a newer GM model on the no. 5 route.) A little known line in northern New Jersey.
