Two kiosks are shown as typical of the five that were part of the original street furniture installation in 2001 on the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway along Frank Sinatra Drive at Newark, First, Second, Third and Fourth Streets. Historical panels created by the Hoboken Historical Museum about the riverfront replaced the original panels 2011 and are on the south facing side of each one with a new map panel on the north side. Both panels have "You are Here" markings to indicate to the viewer where they are standing in relation to the historical riverfront and the modern one. Each historical panel has eight Guide-by-Cell audio tour selections with more about Hoboken history related to or depicted on that panel. This series of historical and map signage was done with a grant from the Institute of Museum & Library Services.
