While the exact street address is not given, the source stated that the images were from an album of 65 Paterson Street (see related photos 2012.001.0098).
Photo 1: a view of a flooded street intersection (apparently Harrison and Paterson) with a car sitting on the street. Reverse captioned: Connie Hurricane, Paterson Ave. Hoboken, NJ Sat Aug 4 - 1955.
Photo 2: a view of four men and a boy outside what is apparently 65 Paterson Ave.; the street is wet, but not flooded. They appear to have set up a chute leading from the house to the street gutter. Reverse captioned: Connie Hurrican Sat. Aug. 4 - 1955. Water went in to furnace. Hit motor.
