Photograph
Destroyed panoramic color photograph of a reunion as found in Hoboken storm debris after Hurricane Sandy, October 30th and later, 2012.
4" x 12" print with holographic notes on reverse: 2002 Branson USN BH#18 Reunion.
The print is held as a single example of the many thousands of such prints destroyed in Hoboken by Hurricane (or Superstorm Sandy). Typically many of this type of memorabilia was damaged by water in basements or even first floors by the flooding of October 29th. For many days afterward, they were part of the materials removed from basements and piled high on sidewalks for rubbish removal. Some were windswept or floated to locations that could not be associated with the original owner.
Original owner has not been located or identified. Photograph was possibly taken in Branson, MO. From the apparent age of some people seen, it was probably for naval veterans of World War II or later.
