Envelope: Passage Ticket, United States Lines, S.S. Republic, Miss H. Cahill, Sailing July 3, 1926 from Hoboken. Printed coverweight paper, 4-1/2" high x 9-1/2" wide; left side opening, notched. Ticket is not present.
Printed both sides (front in blue; back in red); typewritten entries for vessel, date, time and passenger name. United States Lines headquarters were in New York City at this time, but its American home port for passenger ships was Hoboken. Directions to the Hoboken piers is on the back of the sleeve.

By ferry from West Twenty-third Street, foot of Barclay or Christopher Streets, to Lackawanna Station, Hoboken, N.J.
By Hudson Tubes at either 33rd Street and 6th Avenue, Cortlandt Street or intermediate stations. Get off at Lackawanna Station Hoboken, N. J. (last stop).
The United States Lines piers are only five minutes walk North from the Lackawanna Station.
