8" x 10" modern copy print, circa 1996. Reverse is blank. (This item is from records compiled for and used in preparation of activities for Hoboken Baseball Day 1996, the 150th anniversary of a noted game played in Hoboken.) A typical posed publicity photograph.
Event was held at Meyers Hotel, Hoboken. Cake was donated by General Foods Corporation, the parent of Maxwell House Coffee; its Hoboken factory was on the site of the former Elysian Fields where the 1846 game being commemorated was played.

George Burns (Burns and his wife Gracie Allen were famous stage, radio and film entertainers; soon to be hosts of a radio program sponsored by Maxwell House Coffee; in a few years they would have a successful television series).
Ford Frick (President of the National League and successor to Frick as Commissioner in 1951).
Al Schacht (former major league baseball player - known as the "Clown Prince" of the Washington Senators; then a N.Y. restauranteur and baseball entertainer).
