Photographer: Mel Kiernan, Hoboken. Although dated as 1998 by the photographer, these images may be from 2001. Park is on Hudson River between Fourth and Fifth Streets opposite Stevens Park. 1: view southeast of the soccer field with the pavillion at the right; note deck of former Pier D is still present. 2: view south of the park, pavillion and Frank Sintra Drive near Fifth Street. Note old tracks of former Hoboken Shore Railroad still present. 3: view south from the east side of the soccer field showing the riverfront walkway; Hoboken Terminal in the distance. (From the number of people seen, it would appear that photo 3 was taken at different time from the first two photos.)
