The donor, Stanley Batkin, was the owner of the Universal Folding Box Company and provided the description and background information about this image. The architect was a Mr. Newman. He was the architect for the Universal Folding Box Company's first plant in Hoboken when it started Hoboken operations in 1936 at the site of the Consumer's Ice Co., the sign for which can be seen in the background of this photo.

Which man is Mr. Newman is not indicated. At the upper right is the Fourteenth Street Viaduct.
