4-1/8" x 6-1/4" high on photographer's mount (which appears to have had the bottom trimmed slightly removing text "Formerly in New York."). Photographed by Dimmers Photo Studio, 406 Washington St., Hoboken. Imprint on front in lower border. Full imprint on back. Back has holographic identification: Gr. Grandma Lamy (or Lancy?)
Theodore Dimmers was operating in Hoboken along with his brother, Rudolf (or Rudolph), at 406 Washington St. from the mid-to late 1880s (and which became 1018 Washington in 1892). Both addresses have been seen (using name of Dimmers or Dimmers Photo Studio) with text "Formerly in New York." Which of the two were the photographer for this sitting is unknown.
