Black-and-white photo of Clam Broth House owner John Podesta hanging paintings in the restaurant, Hoboken, December 16, 1961.
8" x 10" high print, press photo. Photograph taken by United Press International (UPI) Roto Service. Reverse with duplicated caption; dated file inkstamp: Reference Jan-5-1962 N.E.A. [Newspaper Editors Association.]
Podesta is seen inside the restaurant standing on a chair or short ladder while placing a hanger/nail. Multiple works of art are hung on the walls and others are on the floor leaning against the table and booth end. (Podesta was the proprietor of the business, not the creator of the works. Many styles of art are seen along with some sculptures.)

To make certain that they will not be damaged, John Podesta takes personal responsibility for hanging the paintings in his clam house. An art enthusiast and University of Virginia graduate, Podesta is happy with the reaction of his customers to the art show. They like the broth, too.
