Mabel Bolles is standing, third row, fourth from the right. She was in the third grade per description of scene provided by daughter Joan S. Dalton 2014 which would have made the year 1907. Other children not identified.

She was born in Hoboken August 6, 1898.
All are dressed in their best clothes. The outdoor location of photo is not stated or been determined. A porch or veranda is in the background (possibly the parish house?) Several American flags on sticks are present suggesting a holiday or some celebration.
Ages of the children range from kindergarten or first grade age to circa fifth or sixth grades or older. Possibly the youngest children at the front may have been from the Lady of Grace Orphanage which was next to the school.
School was at Willow Avenue and Fifth Street (and site went to Clinton St.)
