This image is from a group of thirty images originally in black-and-white taken during the filming of "On the Waterfront" at the Hoboken piers and shoreline. These copy images were made in color by Robert Foster. According to him, the owner (not identified by him) lost the originals shortly after these copies were made. Some are posed, some are candids. Total of 80 images on three rolls of color negative film with 30 prints (plus duplicates) from these rolls. Some negatives are missing and many frames are duplicates (bracketed exposures) of the same image. Prints were made in 1990. Size of original images was not recorded by Foster.
