A 1965 Hoboken phone directory gives an address for a tavern called Hoboken House at 217 Tenth St. The photographers stamp is on the reverse along with several pencil annotations in what appears to be by various people. The provenance of this image is not settled, but it is believed to have been produced for a Hoboken governmental publication that was cancelled.
