Views of the Park Avenue exterior midway between Fifteenth and Sixteenth Streets. It was built for the Elevator Supplies Company, Inc. and outlines of a sign (ghost sign) over freight doors from that company is seen. The building was later the Sweets Company of America (Tootsie Roll) factory, and last as the Alorna Coat Corp. Building demolished 2013 (scaffolding seen was erected a year or more earlier to protect pedestrians.)
This group documents an industrial building that had various uses over its 80 year lifespan.
