Printed rag paper, 3-1/4" x 7-7/16" wide; inkstamped on back.
Geismar's: The Geismar Shop. 1907: 226-228 Washington St, Men's clothing / haberdashery; also 222 Washington St. This certificate was issued in a pocket of the suit jacket. See notes and below.
The engraved style certificate does not bear any printer's mark. Cortley Jr. was trademarked in 1920 by Cohen and Lang. No registered trademark is stated on the piece (trademark registration listing notes it was in use from 1919 onward) suggesting the date range.
