Barck, 74, overseer of the poor here was fatally stabbed during a scuffle in his office Feb. 25, Joseph Scutellaro, 36, a jobless carpenter and father of two children, was held for the crime. Barck, recently under fire because of alleged "abominable treatment" of relief clients, died a few minutes after his right lung was penetrated by a desk spindle.
