A promotional advertising publication for Cocomalt, a fortified chocolate flavored powder to be mixed with milk. Davis was primarily the manufacturer of Davis OK Baking Powder and Yeast (the company name appears only page 27 and a publication code on page [29] provides the year.) This booklet was distributed by mail with a sample can as offered in a 1929 magazine advertising campaign (see notes for typical text of the offer; see archives 2010.007.0302 to .0305. for some of the magazine ads.) Cocomalt had only been on the market for a couple years. The color cover reflects the 1929 advertising campaign which used color artwork in the style seen on this cover. The interior has black-and-white spot illustrations with many utilizing the same style.
