The family of four - mother, son, daughter and father - posed in photographer's studio are not identified.
Photograph taken by Carl Thies, Atelier fur Photographie, Hannover, Holtystrasse No. 15 nahe dem Aegidienthorplatz (imprint on back.) Front imprint states "Holtystrasse 13." Stained beveled edges, 4-1/4" x 6-1/2".
Back imprint has a printer's credit (George Moses, Frankfurt A.M.) that appears dated as 1910.

One of a group of photographs in this accession related to the Sanntrock family which lived in Hoboken from the later part of the 19th century until the early 20th century. Consisting of images of first and second generation German immigrants, the group reflects their German heritage and culture in fashions and content (some photographs are from Germany, apparently of relatives.)
