DescriptionBlack-and-white photo detail of a carved stone lion yard ornament at 811 Hudson St., Hoboken, no date (ca. 1968-72). Photo was probably taken by William Tremper. 8-5/16" wide x 12-3/8" high image on 11" x 14" paper. Reverse is blank. The lion is one of a matching pair (alternate forward front leg). As of fall 2002, they are still there. The provenance of this image is not settled, but it is believed to have been produced for a Hoboken governmental publication that was cancelled.
