This Bond is issued for money borrowed by the Water Commissioners of the City of Hoboken, under the provisions of An act of the Legislature of the State of New Jersey, entitled An act to authorize the Water Commissioners of the City of Hoboken, to contract for and intro- duce Water into said City and provide for the payment thereof, approved March 20th, 1857, and supplement thereto approved, March 2nd, 1869, __________________ _____________________ and by said acts is made a lien on all real estate within the corporate limits of said City, for the payment of the principal and interest on the said Bond.
