DescriptionArchitect's scale, triangular wood, model 8892, made by Keuffel & Esser Company, (Hoboken, N.J.), no date, circa 1940s-1950s. Painted wood with English measure in black ruling; 7/8" triangle with groove on all long sides; 12" scales; overall 12-1/2" long. Marked with model number and "K&E Co. [star symbol] Star Quality." Typical scale rule for students. K&E main offices and factory were in Hoboken during the period when this was manufactured.
