The ad is from an earlier time and presumably the ones pasted on top were peeled off. The advertisement at the center is for Chesterfield cigarettes and features Barbara Hale, an actress who was endorsing in this ad as a star of the motion picture "Lorna Doone". She would later become best known for playing the character "Della Street" on the television series 'Perry Mason". The remnant of the ad at the left is for Roosevelt Raceway, a horse racing park that was once on Long Island. Also image received as TIFF on CD from photographer, 2003.029.0015.
