K&E Leroy Lettering Pen made by Keuffel & Esser Company, (Hoboken, N.J.), no date, circa 1940-1945. Eight each. Two-piece tubular wood sleeve, 3/8" diameter x 1-3/8" long; container wrapped with printed paper label in black and red on white paper; contents is a machined metal pen nib designed for use in Leroy pen holders and scribers. All containers are open; one with loss of paper identifying specific contents.
No location other than "Made in U.S.A." on the label. K&E general offices and factory were in Hoboken during the period when these were manufactured.
